“I am studying to become a behavioral mental health therapist for children and teens. The many ways this fellowship has helped me include buying my textbooks for me and offering job opportunities that correlate with what I want to become.” Litzy is a Rice County Chemical and Mental Health Fellow and NCCC student.
As a community, we strive to position ALL young people for success after high school. Youth Future provides resources related to career exploration and planning and facilitates connections between youth, parents, and employers.
NORTHFIELD COMMUNITY COLLEGE COLLABORATIVE (NCCC)
Through the NCCC, anyone with a high school diploma or GED can take in-person or online classes through Riverland Community College and other institutions. They can also receive tutoring, career planning assistance, and other student support.

‘MADE IN NORTHFIELD’ DAY
Northfield High School and Area Learning Center juniors and seniors engage with different local area business partners representing a wide variety of career interests and pathways. Students learned about current and future potential local job opportunities, along with the education and training that might accompany specific plans for life after high school.
